Google Spotlight Stories' 'Pearl' Wins Big!
Saturday night saw the 44th Annual Annie Awards for excellence in animation. Google Spotlight Stories took home four awards for their work in 360 Story-telling and specifically for their short film, 'Pearl' (which is also nominated for best animated short at this year's Academy Awards!).
• Outstanding Achievement, Directing in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production
• Outstanding Achievement, Music in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production
• Outstanding Achievement, Production Design in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production

• Ub Iwerks Award – for technical advancement in the art of animation
